Le Voci de Venezia, VHS's after school chorus group, performed a difficult song, hoping to get the chance to sing at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Basilica in Boston. All members of Le Voci de Venezia had to try out to earn a spot in the group.

Kelli Cross, a senior at Venice High School, volunteered her time to play for the chorus during its recent winter concert. Cross did not have time to practice with the chorus before performing on stage; it was the first time both performed together.
