  • COURTESY PHOTO -- A new Little Free Library will be celebrated with Grand Opening fanfare Saturday, Aug. 29, noon, at Venice Holistic Community Center (VHCC), 714 Shamrock Blvd., Venice. Refreshments by Publix will include one free sausage lunch voucher from Herman?s Meat Market for the first five patrons to bring two or more books (one per family). VHCC joined with Sandra LaFlamme and Southwest Education Foundation to bring the joy of reading to the Venice Gardens Community. Look for VHCC on Facebook.
