Although most FOP Lodge 45 donations go toward the youth in Sarasota County, the officers felt the need to help volunteers who deliver warm nutritious meals to anyone unable to feed themselves due to physical, mental or financial restrictions.

Debris was strewn over a wide area, especially in Venice Gardens, which took the brunt of the storm that hit in the middle of the night.
