SUN PHOTO BY BETSY WILLIAMS -- Lemon Bay High School seniors Seth Falkenburg and Madison Young both have been awarded $30,000 scholarships to the Ringling College of Art + Design. The announcement was made at the Visual Art Center Youth Art Show awards Thursday evening, where samples of their pieces, 'Psyche' and 'Awakening,' were on display. Falkenburg also received the Vicky Potts-Tax Collector Award, and Young won the VAC Scholarship given to one student at each of the high schools. Camryn Callison from Port Charlotte High School and Olivia Griffing Jayne from Charlotte High School were the other recipients.
